Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts.
Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools
Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and resolve issues
Ensure adherence to SDLC/STLC processes
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and reviews
Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test reports

Must Have

Automation Testing certification (mandatory)
Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (Selenium or similar
Basic knowledge of Java or Python for automation scripting
Exposure to TestNG / JUnit frameworks
Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good To Have

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation
Experience in writing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test reports
Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git
Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
